Family lunch

It’s been a while since I had the opportunity to document an occasion like this, and I did so armed with both the Leica Q2 Monochrom and the Leica Q2.

I’d like to photograph a wedding with the Q2+Q2M, I’m sure it could work – it’s just difficult to take that leap when I know the Sony will do the job without the added stress!

  1. Lots of smiles – you’ve documented a enjoyable family get together.
    Well done.

  2. Lovely work. Great portraiture & food shots. (Great food!)

You’re right to think the fixed 28mm of the Q2 combined with a well-matched sensor+lens is capable of a very wide range of photography. You probably also guess that the constraint helps rather than penalizes. I found that on a recent trip in the Tasmanian wildnerness.

Thanks Peter – It’s good fun making a single focal length work for everything, opens up some creative opportunities. The Q2 is just so unobtrusive too.
